'Sky Dive Superstar'
We recently worked with David who lost his job back in 2021. Company turnover went down and job cuts were made throughout the company. He described the feeling of getting back into work would be: 'as impossible as him doing a sky dive.'
Well we at Where Is Your Mind? aren't ones for letting a challenge pass us by. We teamed with David and worked on his self- confidence, using the free time productively to work on achieving other goals in life while applying for the right jobs. Our client exceeded himself when he decided to do a sponsored sky dive for 'Where Is Your Mind?' and prove to himself that with enough patience and courage many things in life are more possible than we think. He is now working in a senior management role and enjoying the new position.
'Stay Sober for Success'
At the beginning of the year we worked with a small group of final year students who were struggling with finance management and were engaging in recreational habits that were not conducive with studying and failed to meet their assignment grades. They were worried about how this would affect their future.
After Personal Development Coaching, they decided to do the 'Stay Sober for Success' six week challenge and gained sponsorship for 'Where Is Your Mind?'. They even set up the Union's first ever 'Mocktail Making Evening'. In addition to raising an incredible amount of sponsorship, the outcomes meant they started to engage in more social activities such as sport, study groups, healthy eating and cooking, the positive results they felt would last with them for a lifetime. They realized that positive habits increased their happiness, success and quality of life.
'Football Fantastic Fanatic'
We currently deliver free coaching to Interns within some FinTechs and in the corporate sector. One of our biggest challenges was channeling high achieving Personnel working on their own initiative into also creating a collaborative team spirit who were able to work effectively together. They decided to set up a network of five aside football tournaments over the course of a few months and raised an inspiring amount of funds for us to continue delivering our services. The outcome was they learnt new ways to collaborate and build a team in a way that they could implement these techniques into their working environment.
